can people order from UK ebay if they're in the US? i've been looking at enchanted folk copies more over magician's quest just because they already tend to sell cheaper. 
i think JP copies sell unfairly cheap but i haven't bit the bullet yet just since i wanna be able to play it in english u__u

This one in Germany ships worldwide but I'm not sure if it's a little over budget. Heck, I'd sell you my copy if I wasn't so attached to it.
There's always the alternative of downloading a ROM onto an R4 card . I have a friend who plays it on their DSi using one.
Or you could go for one of the sequels, they're all in Japanese but they're pretty fun. The most recent one 's on 3DS so you can still play that online and use the multiplayer feature.

OH MAN that's way less than i was willing to pay. i think my limit for it would've been anything over $80 u__u 
i considered doing that but decided i'd rather have a legitimate copy. JP 3ds games wouldn't be playable on a US 3ds though, right? i know that they're unregionlocked if it's an original DS game being played on US 3ds

Ah, didn't know 3DS games were region locked, I really want to get the latest one, darn.
I hope you can get it though, because heck, it's like one f my special interests.
