I got two blossoms on mine this year so I was very excited.  I bought a little tent-like cover for it when the snow starts falling.

Our soil makes mine blossom in a beautiful blue.. ..they seem to do ok with winter.. mine have been out there about 4 years now..

I got mine two years ago as a present and almost killed it by overwatering while still in the pot.  It literally came back from the dead so I am being extra cautious.
