... is 5016 years awayThis was all rendered in photoshop except for the planet below which was made in terragen.
edit: didn't notice till now that the crescents are a little sloppy since the other computer i made these on
was rather dark. I'm going to fix that if I get time.

I like the overall composition. Yes, the piece has some flaws, most of which have been named already. I'll add with a minor remark that the texture on the largest planet could use another run of spherize filter. All this aside, your work is very promising and I look forward to new pieces.

i like the mountains and the planets but i'm not sure of the sun...it's a bit 2 foggy i think...that looks a bit unrealistic, but that's my opinion

Thanks for commenting. Ya the sun is kind of a stupid mistake because it is infront of the planet. Its supposed to be the tip of a star shining over the horizon of a planet but later i moved those two crescents down behind the sun. Plus why aren't the planets lit up on the side the sun is one? hehe. Lets just quickly say that there was an atomic explosion and that is what the star is.
