It was only in the burnt shades of hot pink and orange that was enough to rouse them from their soft purple-petaled beds. The reflection of the pigmented clouds on the lake was their favorite thing to watch, even though doing so tired them out. A little sip of nectar before returning to their nap had them glowing their bright pink once again in no time.A gift I made for my mother for her birthday.
