I loved this guy, when I was, well, younger, I saw art on Brickshelf, and my young heart wanted to draw just like him! Well, I moved on in life (I still have a drawing of Akaku somewhere) but I still remember this guy. So anyhoo, sadly, I couldn't give Akaku enough love this time around, and he used up the last of my green. So I really do need to change him up a bit, but overall, I think he has a nice vibe. Ah man, this is awesome, and very touching 
This turned out pretty well, I have to say! Love how you gave him his signature Spikes to his mask, and the Technological look of the Noble Mahiki suit's him pretty well too; the mostly Lime and Silver color scheme (and the wings) remind me a lot of my earlier days, which is a nice touch as well
All in all, I love it! Good mix of parts, and the Pistol/Shotguns are pretty sweet as well

Aw thanks! No problem. I went all the way with the spikes, and did use lime-green to evoke that earlier feel you speak off. Maybe I will send you that old dusty picture soon.
