Good job, I'm not a little girl but this painting really characterizes my situation. I live in one of the biggest cities, it is so colorless, bland, loud, obnoxious to live here. And I feel like I make art to give me something more interesting to look at and feel.

The telephone/electricity poles really stand out for me. They are like a Defense painting, jabbing into the sky yet they are connected through wire, so they give the sense of people calling communicating with/depending on each other.

The little girl playing in her own world is like a view inside one of the rooms of your mind.

yes, arenΒ΄t the kids almost always briging colour to the world? one of my nicest memories of when i had my little daughter and i started to go outside with her, i one went to a little river nearby - she was just a few months old and i cariied her in my arms so she could look - i went very slowly and carefully through the reeds at the bank of that river and it was like i saw this for the first time, so fresh and bright... for many years i was underway with her almost every day from then on, and she was a keen observer and a brilliant reader of traxks and traces - i enjoyed that very much...
now she is twelve already and itΒ΄s getting difficult to motivetae her for going out again - but iΒ΄m sure it will come back again in some years...

i also love this painting and it reminds me of a drawing by the great french cartoonist sempΓ©, who once made picture - all greay houses and the adults walking around like grey, emotionless zombies, while the kids come out of a school yard, yelling, playing fighting andΒ  - - - colourful...
i always liked that picture a lot...
