Description
miracle city is a place situated inside the space cruise that took off from earth before it froze, carrying most of the human population inside. the citys based around vaporwave aesthetic but essentially on eccojams due to its concept of "repetitive", "looping" and "stuck". it is a "city of permanent people", an experiment involving the physical storage of memories and the ability to "live forever" via unlimited cloning. however, since the storage of memory is limited, people are forced to reset them/replace them once it reaches said limit. so the "person" keeps being alive, but most of the experiences that made up that "person" will inevitably end up changed one way or another through the passage of time. this is especially painful for those who have not yet reached said limit and still remember a life with a person.

the people in this drawing are actually based off them (which i will not go into detail for) but basically theres Rhea (white hair albino girl) whos a sickly and fragile girl whos a bit confused about this life but always tries to think positively despite how adverse a situation might be, and Kyle (girl on the right, and yes tgats a girl) always looks out for Rhea making sure she doesnt get hurt. no matter what she cant shake off the feeling that something feels off about this city. but despite this, they are deeply in love, and have been for as long as they can remember, maybe for a few thousand times having lived and died through the process... who knows, time feels funky in that city.

the place itself though is heavily inspired by this picture that i still cant trace the origins of, but was likely uploaded by actual sunsetcorp...? reads "Floridian Art, Traditional. 1989."
