Together some friends and I put together an Edwardian Tea Party Shoot inspired by our favorite princesses. I was Belle! Here is the gown I made and worn.

Between research on the era, shopping, drafting the pattern, sewing my costume, and collecting and assembling accessories- I spent well over 100 hours on my look!

For this outfit I wanted to create a feeling of historical fantasy. Even though I researched historical accuracy, I wanted to put my own spin on it as I do with everything. I used a classic silhouette but full a couple elements from different years of Edwardian fashion and used some gorgeous beaded 3D flower lace for details. I added the roses on the hat for that special Belle magic. I wore a Victorian inspired @poppyangeloff ring as well - I felt that maybe it could have been something Belle’s mother had left her since the era was a little earlier.

The gown was designed and created by me, the hat and gloves were purchased and I added many details to make them one of a kind.

This shoot was brought together by AmberArden who also spearheaded our #disneyrococo shoot last year (where I was Cinderella!) it’s always a pleasure to work with her and can’t wait to show you what’s next for us!
