Description Apophysis 2.06 3d hack, post work and border added in the GIMP.

Yeah, I know there are hot spots, but not for lack of trying to get rid of them. Actually I rather think they fit the atmosphere of this one.

Let me know what you think of it!

If they ever remake Tron, that's exactly what the MCP should look like.

Great work Apple. It looks as if the levels \ decks of some giant space ship are coming together.

This is awesome, my kind of fractal through and through.

It's Dr. Jekyl's laboratory.

what do you mean 'hotspots'?

Glimphor In reply to Archetype-of-Dasutin [2008-04-16 12:40:38 +0000 UTC]

Areas of a fractal which are so bright that the details get washed out... usually considered a detractor from image quality, though I think they fit well in some cases.

Thanks for the !

I'm actually pretty fond of this though I think some of the details could have popped a bit more. I'm also one of those people that likes bright colours that make you want to vomit spinneh rainborgs though

Overall, nice job and nice composition

Haha, you know I'm a big fan of the spinneh rainborgs mahself. I thought I'd try for a more somber, sci-fi feel in this one...

Thanks for faving

this is a sweet fractal. i love the atmosphere..the angle, the colors.. there's basically nothing i don't like about it :haha: it's like some epic futuristic SOMETHING.i have no words to describe it

this is what i first thought of when i saw this.. yours is just so much more badass lol.

That's pretty much exactly the idea I had when this fractal began to take shape, so that's basically the effect I tried to achieve in this image.

I'm so glad you enjoyed it!
