Their large ears are perfect to snuggle into. In the wild the females will carry its eggs tucked into the pouches on the inside of their ears. If they ever find a lost mountain climber they may offer them an ear cuddle till they are rescued or pass. They are seen as a good omen by mountain climbers on the ascent but once they start to climb down they are a ever present portent following not far behind.
