If someone came up to me and said, "Glitcher old boy, what do you say is the most corking moment in all of Mega Man history?", I'd answer, "Bolly! I do bequeath that honour falls to scuppering Vile with a Ride Armor in Bamboo Pandemonium's stage, wot!"I just love this moment. If MMX8 is the final chapter, nothing could mark that fact better than turning the tables on Vile and beating the stuffing out of him in a Ride Armor while remaining completely invincible. It just feels like the bookends of the series after being subjected to the same humiliating pounding in the highway stage back in the first game. Although Sigma is X's archenemy, this miniboss battle with Vile brought about a sense that Mega Man X has come full circle.

Who is Vile and who is X now? It looks like they changed roles.

Vile is the boss that x fights at the end of the intro stage in x1 that x cannot win until zero saves him. But x beats him in one of the sigma stages. Then fights him again in volt catfish's stage in x3. And then again twice in X8 like in x1 end of the intro stage and then towards the end of one of the sigma stages. But I feel x deserves his revenge for the pain vile caused him when he used ride armor against x. Especially at the end of the intro stage in x1 where x could not even damage him.
