Description
According to Greek Lore, one of Poseidon's consorts was one of his Sisters (Demeter). In some versions of the Hades and Persephone Myth, Poseidon chased Demeter when both were horses which lead into the birth of their children (Arion and Despoina). Although in some religions, Despoina and Persephone were sometimes worshipped as the Same Person in Arcadia.

In the past of Ancient Times, long before Poseidon met Salacia, after when Amphitrite broke up with him and now lived with Neptune, Poseidon had a long quest of looking for the Perfect Woman to be his Bride for a Sea Queen. The one that caught in Poseidon's eyes was Demeter (Hestia and Hera's Sister), the Goddess of Agriculture. Although they didn't mind each other at first, but since Poseidon considered himself to be the most heartthrob of all in the Seas according to Sea Women, he was a Womanizer like his Brother (Zeus).

Demeter didn't really had any strong feelings for Poseidon mainly because she considered him a Friend for most of her life when he asked her if she would be his Wife. But when they figured out that they can actually work together as partners to help make the plants grow, they realized that Earth needed more plants which is why Poseidon added his Water to Demeter's Grain. Although he did at least flirted with her, she didn't mind nor care since what she only saw was platonic love and the two had an open-relationship as Demeter always allows Poseidon to be with other people.

However, things started to come out different when Persephone came into Demeter's life, that was when Demeter started to work even harder as a Mother taking care of her plant business to herself without Poseidon's help. Being his own vain self, Poseidon thought that maybe he would be Persephone's Step-Dad to be close with Demeter but Demeter still rejected his love for him despite their on and off relationships.

When Demeter hears about the Troubled Things that Poseidon did for tricking the Mortal Medusa, she felt disappointed in him but she knew that he was just being himself as the Sea God couldn't help it at all. Poseidon was often too vain as he was being a bit of a narcissist at times but Demeter still cared for Him, seeing on how that she secretly loved him.

When Winter came as Demeter's Daughter went missing, soon after a failed job to work as a Nanny for King Celeus in Eleusis, Poseidon came to Her Temple and apologized to Demeter for he felt sorry that her own daughter was missing and that maybe she would be better off as a Queen of both Land and Sea. Sadly, they broke up. Never did they ever became lovers nor did the fact that two Gods would think that they would be a perfect match.

You can tell I made my own Outfit for Poseidon for whenever he walks on land. I headcanon that Sea Gods in the SpongeBob universe have the ability to turn their own Mertails into a Pair of Legs whenever they walk on the Surface Land.
