Description
I've been joining the SpongeBob fandom for quite some time recently and I figured why not do some character designs to what the Roman and Greek Gods would look like in The SpongeBob Universe since Neptune and Poseidon are already designed. But even though we only get brief mentions of the Other Gods in the Show and One of its Movies, we'll only see Neptune and Poseidon along with Amphitrite and Triton because they are Water Gods after all since the Franchise is set entirely underwater (which makes sense). But the Whole Greco-Roman Mythology is very dark since a lot of shit happens in Mythology. There's a lot of Drama, Romance, Adultery, Incest, and even Violence in these kinds of stories that a lot of people changed over the years but in truth, SpongeBob is not that all faithful to the Myths, even when it would be too dark to have these canon backstories of Neptune and Poseidon from the Original Myths in a Kids Show, they've always changed their versions of one of the Gods just like anyone else does.

For instance; Neptune was abandoned as a Baby by his Biological Family of Royal Mermaids until Aliens come in and gave him Powers when he was a Baby as He Grew Up (In the Myths, Neptune was eaten alive by his Father, Saturn (Cronus' Roman Counterpart) along with his other siblings until when Jupiter came in, saved him, and their siblings), Poseidon has No Powers and Only cares for his Looks (When in the Myths, He's the Most Powerful Greek God ever much like towards his Brothers and he doesn't really care at all for his looks). And of course, let's not forget how they changed one of their spouses from one to another in the show, Amphitrite. In the Franchise, She is Neptune's Wife and even the Mother of their Children, Triton and Mindy, but in the Myths, Amphitrite is actually Greek and is married to Poseidon (she does have a son named "Triton" but Triton's Real Father is actually Poseidon and there are more children of Poseidon/Neptune in the Myths besides than Triton). However, Amphitrite's Roman Counterpart is "Salacia".

Here is my version of Salacia (Neptune's Real Roman Wife) if she would appeared in The Universe. Only this time, since Neptune already has Amphitrite, Poseidon would have Salacia (Kind of a Spouse Swap, I know). My Version on a SpongeBob Depiction of Salacia would be part for my Re-Written take on Sponge on The Run (because let's face it, Hillenburg didn't want to have Spin-offs and even the flashbacks in the Third Movie are lies with laziness just to retconned the past on how the Characters met instead of using the actual reasons from the oldest episodes on how they did met in the first place).

Salacia is one of the 15 Daughters of Nereus and Doris, She is a Naïve, Compassionate, Free-Spirited, Independent, and is mostly a Sassy Mermaid who is around 27 years old (27,000+ in Goddess Years). Most of her Sisters were chosen to have Boyfriends to have Future Husbands by their own choice while Salacia reminded single for the rest of her life, she would often spend much more time talking with Marine Animals that she makes friends with and even journey through the surface world.

One day, while she was sitting on a rock on the surface while making a Crown, she met SpongeBob and Patrick with Mindy upon the Ocean after they were somehow chased by a group of Piranhas. Salacia looked curious to see what was all the fun about when Mindy and her Sea Creature Friends bumped into her Sisters. SpongeBob and Patrick introduced themselves to her when Mindy said that there were only for looking for help, until when her Eldest and Youngest Sisters tease them out of embarrassment so Salacia had to go with Mindy and her new friends as she decided to join their adventure to get King Neptune (Mindy's Father) in order to convince him to stop Poseidon from taking over the Bikini Bottom as his New Kingdom of Atlantis.

During her Journey with her New Friends, they are unaware that they are being watched by Poseidon through his Crystal Ball just to see on where the Heroes are up to. However, when Poseidon takes a look at Salacia for the first time, he instantly falls in love with her because of her Beauty, He thinks he shall make a Perfect Queen to his Kingdom where they could rule together as a replacement for his Old Once Love for Amphitrite (Neptune's Wife).

Salacia does get to know more often about Mindy and her Friends as SpongeBob tells her the stories along the way on how he met his friends, working at the Krusty Krab, Boating School and all the other kinds of fun stuff that he did in the Bikini Bottom for Years while Mindy told her that she was the Daughter of the Famous Roman God, King Neptune. Salacia was a bit interested in the City where SpongeBob and his Friends lived as she wondered what the Bikini Bottom would be like. Unfortunately, a lot of bad things happened through their way through their Trip to convince King Neptune. For example; they run through some mysterious ghost pirates (not the same ones as the Flying Dutchman's) on an abandoned ship that sunk in a storm a thousand years ago, a pack of a bunch of Royal but Dangerous Sea Slugs ruled by a Sea Slug King, and even lastly, they ran over to the Kraken.

After so many running through so many scary sea creatures among the deep, they instantly finally found Neptune's Kingdom. They sneakily head it without being noticed to try to find Neptune so he could help them stop Poseidon but when they are accidentally caught by him Neptune threatens when he asks the Gang on what do they want as SpongeBob tries to explain but the Roman God instantly noticed his Daughter who was out of Princess School who had joined the Gang. Mindy tries to explain to her own Father that they need their own help to stop his Greek Counterpart from taking over the Bikini Bottom, but Neptune doesn't really believe in his Daughter's words since he believes that it is some sort of trick as he kicked Mindy's friends out.

When Neptune sent his Daughter to return to her own Rightful Summer School through a Carriage, he was very disappointed that she joined her sea creature friends without telling him, thus, splitting the Friends apart. While SpongeBob and Patrick somehow failed as they headed home alone, Salacia felt stressed out from that journey for all of what's left was to go back home. But when Poseidon came in with his carriage which surprises Salacia. For the first time that the Two finally met in person, he asked Salacia to join him and even be his Queen but Salacia wasn't too sure since he took over the Bikini Bottom. Curious at first, she thought that maybe perhaps they could continued to stop Poseidon and even see her friends again as she decides to go with Poseidon as the Greek God took her to his New Palace in the Bikini Bottom which is now ruled there by him. But when Patrick and SpongeBob see that Poseidon now has Salacia, they run fast ahead to now continue on their journey and even head to the Bikini Bottom as they called Mindy for help.

During her stay in the Bikini Bottom, Poseidon showed her around the new palace that she will now live in, Salacia was impressed and amazed by the place but deep down, she missed her new friends since they were very close to her that no one other friend was to her in her life. While SpongeBob and Patrick headed back to save the Bikini Bottom, Poseidon and Salacia do quite to get to know each other some quite time as Salacia develops a crush on him. Unaware that Salacia is also now secretly in love with him, Poseidon decides to put up a wedding so Salacia could become his Queen of their New Kingdom.

When SpongeBob and Patrick finally made it back to the Bikini Bottom, they free out the rest of the Bikini Bottomites especially their Friends who are locked in cages. Poseidon forms up a Date in the Lounge that he orders his Servants to help out just so that he could propose to her where he could wed her and finally make her Queen. Unaware that the Heroic Duo are now back, Salacia joins in the Date that Poseidon set for them as the servants appreciated their new upcoming Queen. After watching acts on the Stage, it was now the perfect time for the Greek Sea King to propose to Salacia with a Wedding Ring that he grabbed out but that gets instantly ruined when SpongeBob and his Friends stop King Poseidon and even save their New Mermaid Friend.

Surprised to see that the Heroes have now come back, Salacia was happy to see her new friends again as SpongeBob got her back as Poseidon immediately pulls out his Triton and even attacks SpongeBob and their Friends as he chases them through the entire kingdom leaving Salacia behind as she tried to stop her future husband but Poseidon was out of rage outside of the Palace. Salacia was horrified for she didn't know what to do to stop him, Poseidon was too powerful, but when King Neptune came in with his Daughter (Mindy), he asked her on where he is as she pointed to the direction to where he is as Neptune stopped Poseidon from attacking SpongeBob and even the Whole Bikini Bottom. The Real Rightful Ruler look disappointed in Poseidon, for Neptune himself couldn't believe what his own equivalent was trying to do as Salacia already explained the whole thing of what truly happened as Poseidon stops fighting SpongeBob for a moment, thus, ending the battle.

When SpongeBob explains that the Bikini Bottom is their only home to live and that they need their home in order to survive and live since it's not meant to be a place for Rulers to rule there. Neptune felt disappointed in his Greek Counterpart as Poseidon apologizes since he was only a bit jealous of Neptune gaining more popularity by the Fish Folks under the sea as Neptune forgives his apology as he is sorry for overshadowing him but Poseidon felt so lonely since he never had any love nor friends in his entire life as he cried.

SpongeBob and Salacia stepped forward comforting the Greek God himself as they've decided to become Poseidon's new friends as He and the Bikini Bottomines including the Roman God and Mindy forgive Him. Salacia does accept his apology as he tells him that she was once unloved too and that no man ever came into her life before Poseidon chose her. With a cheer up of a kiss, Poseidon feels a lot better as he proposes to Salacia, to in which, she accepts his proposal as The Two Wed in the Bikini Bottom. Salacia thanks SpongeBob for the Adventure that she gave as Salacia now stays with Poseidon as her new husband as the two leave the City as they now go back to his Old Palace where it was now redesigned as Poseidon and Salacia become the Second Royal Couple under the Sea while the Bikini Bottom was now fully restored as Merfolk would now a days pay a visit to the Bikini Bottom along with The Main Royal Mermaid Kings including Mindy and Salacia, who often visit their friends.

I basically figured why not give Poseidon a love interest since after all, he's such a huge underrated character that doesn't get a lot of attention in the SpongeBob Fandom (come to think of it, I don't think neither He or Neptune (both Movie and Show) get a lot of fanart from Fans). But even though they rarely appeared, I wish we could see more of them since after all, I'm a huge Greco-Roman Mythology expert and Poseidon is one of my most favorite gods. However, for my Re-Written Sponge on the Run and even it's whole timeline now in the modern universe, Poseidon's Disguise Hot form in my AU is his Real Form (Since Gods obviously can't age at all) and I figure why not add more on the Greco-Roman Mythology lore more in My AU of SpongeBob.

So basically, in my AU of the Re-written Modern SpongeBob (including its Spinoffs), The Greek and Roman Gods are actually separated characters, although I could make Poseidon canon in my own SpongeBob AU, I might as well fix it's new timeline just to stay true to the original canon timeline as well as fixing the spinoffs.
