i'll second the comment above. there's something perticular about those thick, brown lines holding the peice together. they're so bold, something that makes a stark contrast to the dainty-ness of the charater and the soft, stain-like colouring you've applied to her.
the way you have the colours concentrate into darker patches in certain areas makes for a neat tonal device that adds to the sense of form while not taking anything away from the the incredibly strong line work. i think the realtion between these two facots works its best at the point where the arms fold and the material crumples up, devided by these wonderfully sharp, scratchy lines.
i keep on finding my eyesw being dragged back up to the head. i don't know if that's because of the concentrated, dark patch of hair or the elaborate design of the head gear. the two boomerang like hair peices really asentuate the shape of the sholders and i just dig the way the ears seem to just curl out from the side of her head.
there's something quite sinister about this peice. those featureless, glowing eyes are really peircing and her gaze is made all the more unscrutinising by the cock of her head.
