Shikari is an Ocean Fashion Fishy who revels in attention and praise- like many others, but perhaps she takes it to....a new level.

She came from money but then had to find her own way to start from nearly the bottom and work her way back up. But she did, and through a rather odd means.

Shikari became a "devout priestess" who prayed to mysterious gods that others didn't know of. At first, she didn't believe in said gods, but as time passed and her magic grew stronger as she practiced, she began to believe in these gods legitimately. Despite the gods being ones others hadn't heard of, she was convincing, and spread around that she was a priestess, and people began bringing offerings for her to give to the gods. But it didn't stop there- at some point she became rather deluded, and not only was a priestess, but was convinced the gods had made her a goddess herself with the magic she now held.

She has grown a bit of a cult, and has made several to believe that she is in fact a goddess, and now some griffians bring offerings and pray to her specifically, showering her with money and other gifts. She owns her own palace not too far off of Volcanition.

This wasn't how she made all of her money though- she also works in making the most fabulous high quality jewelry, and not only is it successful, she blesses each piece with magic and sells them as charms for different purposes (she also makes charms that aren't necessarily jewelry)....and whether they actually do work or it is placebo, is up for the user to decide. And even if one does not believe they are blessed, her brand has grown enough to become an expensive luxury that's sought after. She is not lying when she says she blesses them with magic however- she handcrafts and uses magic, whatever type of magic that may be, to bless these items....or could it be, unknowingly, a curse? Rumors fly back and forth about the items' magic, how they work, or if they even work at all.

Despite emanating an intimidating aura she is personable, especially when meeting new people, and many fall for her unique charm, mystery, and beauty. This is how she manages to recruit new followers, often also showing off high skilled magic that makes others balk and wonder.

For all intents and purposes, she fully believes that she is a goddess despite being deceitful about it in the beginning!
