this is a reflection of self at the moment.the girl was drawn from a photo of me...
and is meant to represent me in a way.

awaiting your love to return..
in all good due time.
this does not look nearly as beautiful with all the watermarks and such on it...
nor does it look as good scanned.
but belive it or not people do steal work of mine that is this personal! lol id appreciate it if people chose not to reproduce this even if for fan work for me!

i favorited this because it reminds me of the virgin mother, and even though i am agnostic and not catholic, i've always found this religious figure very alluring for some reason.
recently i read cat's eye by Margarat Atwood and it made me want to do a piece incorporating the virgin mother in some gory way with her heart between her hands. i'm really glad you did it though, cause you have to be like my favourite artist on here.

and it suits the meaning behind this picture too..
because i was awaiting as patently as i could for a loved one

I love it, I once shared the same feelings. 7 months away from the person has made me relieze that our situation was not fixable, so I moved on. So in a sense, just looking at this made me feel as if it were personal even to me. I share the same feelings, but hopefully, yours comes back together unlike mine.
Once again, I simply love it.

mine has come back...because it was always a strong connection as it was when it ended..
it seems fate takes different roads..
but the important thing is you need to feel hope and all the bad stuff
even though you two did not work out... you still traveled the line of grief and other feelings...
and its all part of helping the -growing within yourself- which is important
i have longed and hoped for another in past...and it ended...but i knew now what i knew then...
that it was meant to be that way

I've found someone else since then. I'm glad to say he's much sweeter and treats a girl as they should be treated. Granted he's one or two years younger than I am, but to me age does not matter.

this is so beautiful and so powerful! It has so much depth in it! You really know how to create something so special in such a simple way - but i think that definitely adds to the impact of it.
I really like the light rays coming from the heart. Its a really powerful message. The dawn of a new day. A new beginning. With a new sun a new hope.

I've been so bogged down with commissions I haven't even been able to draw anything just for me in a long while. Although I'm so happy with all of my work right now I don't feel like I've pushed myself 100%. Once I finish off my block of work that I have now, I'm going to be taking a break for a bit. I don't want to burn myself out.

and i have PILES of commissions to complete!
once i finish them up i told myself almost a month ago that ill go on a break!
commissions are good and all... but sometimes you feel like a kid doing homework!
