During the shiney event, the three were tagged as "Legendary Crowned Beasts" which honestly fits them better. Especially when you consider the fact that "Kou" "Tei" and "Cune" in their names mean emperor, lord, and emperor again respectfully. I've always viewed Entei as a lion anyways and this pic well, pictures that perfectly.

I honestly think you gave him a more lion-like look, I don't see much "dog" lol, but that's good! I always imagined Entei as a lion, Raikou as a saber tooth tiger, and Suicune... uh. I don't know, Suicune is just Suicune, haha. Anyway! Awesome job, this looks fantastic!!

I agree with you, Entei has always been a lion to me. I never really knew about Raikou until later on. Suicune is the only one of the three I'd say hands down is doglike.

That trio is officially called 'Legendary Beasts' because they are not only dogs or felines.So this one is a dog+lion.
