"I don't know what it is," answered Fiver wretchedly. "There isn't any danger here, at this moment. But it's coming- it's coming. Oh, Hazel, look! The field! It's covered with blood!"

This is probably one of the spookiest scenes in Watership Down, (which is my favourite book ever), where Fiver mistakes the light of the sunset for the fields being covered in blood.
I have wanted to draw fanart for Watership Down for years xD It's such an amazing novel.
I drew Fiver first then had the idea for the background... so the lighting on him isn't quite right, nor does he look as frightened as he should. Oh well, at least I finally drew something WD related.
