(P.S.: The Roivas family were Mantorok's saints for battling the Ancients. Ever look at their family name backwards?

Mantorok's awesome.
Now, is he controlling Alex, or nudging her in the right direction?
His voice and powers are awesome too. He sounds like... How I think the grim reaper might sound. His magick has saved my ass, and sanity, multiple times. I think he's the only ( used loosely) "good" Ancient in the game.

That is absolutely fantastic. The idea is beautiful, the concept is beautiful and the execution is beautiful. Seriously I love the look on her face and the way that the ruins are floating in the back ground. I hadn't played ED for years and I went back and fell in love wiht it all over again. The fact Alex is about to just cleave something in half definitely adds to the spirit of the picture. Fantastic work.

As for Mantorok... He's my favorite ancient, aside from Ulyaoth.
Why do I like Ulyaoth over the Corpse God, you may ask?

I like, but Alex looks a little too evil there...And what's that thing behind her?

She looks evil cause she's harnessing the power of one bad mutha-*shut yo mouth* Ancient. The thing behind her is the artist's interpretation of a Mantorok guardian spirit or sheild, since it would be hard to have the actual Mantorok (a huge blob with tons of eyes and mouthes) be behind her in a floating, ominous protective sort of way.

I dunno--the seven-point Mantorok Magic Pool is pretty handy, too--debatable even against the shield spell.
I love the coloring on this pic...and cool catch on the Roivas thing!

I dunno, when in doubt, always summon a 9-point creature, have it do it's job then seal it back with a 9-point Bind
