I -loved- that show. Whether it was funny because it was nearly 1 in the morning before we could watch it, or because it was truly funny, the world will never know. I remember one episode where they went to a Renaissance Festival of sorts and McGuirk was drunk and yelling at Brendan to go across the street to get him a hamburger. And Brendan's like "They didn't have hamburgers back in these times, Coach." And he's like "I SEE IT RIGHT OVER THERE. NOW GO GET ME A HAMBURGER." Or something to that effect. Ah God. Hilarious.

oh... wow! i have never seen Home Movies fan art! ever! my sister and i used to plan our Friday evenings around it.
so underrated -- and probably mostly just due to people who take one look at the wierd animation (originally i thought it was BAD animation, but now i view it more as deliberately lazy as a stylistic choice) and write it off.
anyway, awesome choice of subject matter, and i really dig your take on the characters too.

Great take on McGuirk and Brendan, Home Movies was also one of my favorite original Adult Swim cartoons... Before it became nothing more than a bunch of drunken fool thinking foul words and filthy innuendos. And who do we have to thank for that? Seth Green... Stinkin' homo...
