There are "NO" manipulations in this picture, it is exactly what it is. Done with a single long exposure in a dark room.
Hardest part was trying not to appear too ghostly, but also avoid overblown highlights from being stationary.

"Cubism meets romanticism to produce an eerie deification of psychosis. I'm impressed that you thought of this, impressed that you decided to do it, and impressed that you executed it so well.

Honestly, this piece does so many things. You've exploited the detail and realism of photography and yet found a means (and a coherent reason) to venture onto distinctly surrealist territory. You've used photography, once maligned as soulless and utterly unartistic, to produce an artwork which I think many art movements throughout history would cheerfully have claimed as their own. Someone with a better grounding in art history could probably provide a lot more detail on this point, but even I can think of a few. That says that this image transcends artistic styles and movements, which is amazing."
