Eat, Breathe and Resist:

Taylor takes Errol as a friend and is eager to make him a part of the movement.  None of his comrades seems very happy with the idea. Taylor vouches for him and convinces them of his obvious potential in the field. Errol isn't really fond of taking on any new obligations, but listens to the proposal and warms to the idea of causing trouble.  He is ultimately swayed by the promise of payment.

Taylor is one of the highest ranking soldiers of the resistance army left after a recent raid by privatized police.  Many in the movement have already been sentenced to death.  Many others await the same fate.  Taylor is convinced that they were betrayed by within, but has no definite proof.  The System plans on destroying all trace of resistance and Taylor needs to warn them before the leaders are captured and killed.

The shoddy ship that they had stolen loses an engine from all of the sand in the atmosphere of the Prison Planet.  The exposion is strong enough to rip a small hole in the hull, allowing quantities of oxygen to seep out.  All aboard are faced with certain death from asphyxiation long before they have a chance to starve. Everyone is thankful when the radar picks up a nearby vessel.  With their last remaining power, they set course to intercept.  The vessel bears the markings of a humanitarian group that provides relief for those in need.  Taylor feels bad, but Errol justifies the raid as they are in dire need themselves.

Errol suggests that they use the ship's FRC foam (fire and radiation-containment foam) to blind the ships radar.  When the door opens for one of the crewmen to clean the foam off, he is ambushed.  The resistance soldiers capture the bridge quickly, and secure the vessel for the others to board.  Errol notices that the ship's crew is exceptionally well-armed to be dropping off provisions to refugees. Taylor opens the cargo hold and sees that the vessel is actually transporting people.  One of them is Taylor's older brother Titus.

The prisoners are happily released, but Errol bursts in on the celebration.  As it turns out, one of the men on the ship is a governor for the state called Governor Charles Bannis.  Errol doesn't get the man out of his room until after he had sent word that the ship was under attack.  The State had already dispached fighters to their location that would arrive in an hour.

Resistance fighters disguise themselves as crewmen and load the real crew onto the damaged vessel with plenty of oxygen.  Gov. Bannis recants.  They are informed that the armed police ships will be escorting the transport vehicle the rest of the way to the destination to prevent further incidents.  The destination is a heavily guarded facility under State control.  Naturally, they all panic.

Fearful of losing his life, Bannis quickly devises a plan so that the resistance gets to rescue the daughter of one of the resistance leaders; a woman named Eloni, who is also a major in their resistance army.  Bannis is sure that as long as everyone sticks to the plan, everybody can get out of there alive.  With the police closing in, they have no choice but to listen to him.
