Sculpey is so fun to work with. x3 Though I'm more of a super sculpey fan.
These are very nice, I think the Roxas and Sora have to be my favorites; the detailing on them is great~

Super sculpey is easier to work with, I think. It's kind of a pinkish fleshy color, so you'd have to mix it with regular sculpey or paint it if you want to change the color. Its softer and when baked it less brittle than the regular, so it holds up better. It is rather pricey though...it can be up to $12 in stores. It can also be bothersome to use if you have really warm hands though, or if the environment it too warm, because it can easily get too soft.
You might have to look online to buy it, but you could have just missed it. I had to look carefully at my art store because the boxes aren't too fancy and eye-catching, so its easy to miss them.

Ooh, thanks for that! Maybe I've seen it and mistaken it for air-drying clay because of the packet...
From what you've said, super sculpey sounds a bit like soft fimo- have you ever used it? Mostly I prefer it over sculpey these days, 'cos it's just a bit tougher and more flexible after baking.

I might have used it once or twice, but I usually mix the fimo I have with sculpey. XD' I've been meaning to test it out on its own, and maybe some other polymer clays too. Maybe this summer when I'm making things for the upcoming con over here~

I found some glow in the dark sculpey a little while ago~ It glows really well in the package, though I haven't yet had the time to test it out. It was the coolest thing to find~

You use nail polish to give them shine? That's really creative!
I have only used acrylics and sculpey glaze before, never thought to use nail polish. I'd probably be afraid that it would mess up the paint somehow. >_<

O_o Uh, yes?
Really what exactly?
Really:
a) Haven't I seen sculpey glaze before?
b) Does nail polish make stuff sticky?
c) Does nail polish smear permanent marker?
d) All of the above?
e) Other (please specify)

It was "really?" about the sculpey glaze. The permanent stickiness sounds suckish though. D:

That it would!
It might take about ten times as long though.
Still, I'm up for it!
