I CAN’T GET ENOUGH MAN
Anyways here are the deets on their relationship:
Rowan isn’t very into her at first just due to her aura and whatnot but then after the beetlewhispering incident he’s like ‘HOW DID I NOT SEE PAST THE TRAUMA TO THIS BEAUTIFUL JEWEL OF A WOMAN’ and he’s all trying to be sweet and stuff to her all the time
But Lottie doesn’t believe him
Like she actually does not believe that someone she likes actually likes her back and she thinks he’s just a huge douchebag who can read her feelings and stuff and is just being a huge dick to her for no reason
And Rowan CAN read her feelings and he knows she likes him, otherwise he wouldn’t love all on her
Essentially he’s just trying to be nice and sweet to try and disprove her theory on his jerkiness, and she’s trying to get him to either just stop or admit that he’s lying
Lottie thinks like that because she knows she isn’t very traditionally pretty or appealing and I imagine that with the kind of place Scott grew up in, she was probably taught that quite a bit of her overall standing depended on her looks and ‘cutesyness’
Anyway I know they’re quite different from Scott and Dawn, but I always hate genderbend!AU’s that have the characters be exactly the same right down to the letter
