She's the SA-X from Metroid Fusion. The X-Parasite infected Samus and using parts of her removed Power Suit made a blank, lifeless, replica who hunted Samus throughout the game.
I thought about using Dark Samus but
A) SA-X came first and
B) I like SA-X more

The SA-X is definitely the better of the two. I was thought of Metroid Prime just assuming Samus's shape, but the SA-X becoming her dark side personified.
