The Wastelands have a way of... changing people. Mostly it changes them into dead people... the lucky ones anyway. Some, though, aren't destroyed. Instead they are... tempered, turned into something and someone they couldn't possibly have imagined being before. It isn't always a pleasant change but it was always a necessary one.

Littlepip mused on more than one occasion that her Stable-dwelling self would probably have run screaming at the very sight of the very capable killer and survivor she had become. She wasn't sure if she mourned that lost innocence or if she regarded her past self as a naive bit of raider-bait who was better off dead and forgotten.

I think I'd have had her 'dark' side be her bloodied and in raider armor, like in the Mirror.
