Thanks. And you can use it as reference if you want. No art exists in a vacum. Everything is influenced by evertying else.
This one in particular as it came out alittle more 40k than i was expecting.
I'm working on a new peice at the moment in oils that is influenced by "Ghost in the shell" and "Half-life2"

yeah, i didn't actualy intend for that to happen... I didn't even realise untill the picture was finished, it just kinda turned out that way.
The origional version i did that got lost because of a computer crash didn't look 40k at all... I liked it better. Oh well.
Thanks for the looksee.

yeah. I'm really sloppy as far as tightening up paintings go. One of the major things i have to work on this holidays. I might try and add some more highlights as you say tomorrow morning.
Backgrounds, landscapes and scenery represents a rather large hole in my skillbase. You may have noticed most of my speedpaintings focus on a central character of some sort and the rest is kinda left unfinished. I did a practice speedpainting today of some Buffalo in a hilly landscape but i turned out so bad i decided not to post it. I really need to work on this. I'll have to make this one of my major study topics this holidays.
Thanks for the crits

Bloody fantastic speed painting, I've spent hours and not come out with something nearly as good.
As far as improvement it goes, I'd love to see more detail added into the background and the left edges of the two guys sharpened up, What really got me was the contrast of the gun against the lighter horizon. It's a shame to have the dude on the left so washed out.
Simply put, I think you should do more high-lights and make it more defined, It wouldn't take much to turn this into a truly amazing piece.
