Great subject, photographically poor execution (which I have tried to cover up with a bit of photoshopping!).Driving along the 'Snake Pass' a couple of weeks ago were these huge icicles at the side of the road. the bigger ones were a couple of feet long.
I rekon they must have formed as cars drove through a puddle in the road, splashing water onto the trees, which then froze, creating bigger and bigger icicles...

thanks very much! loads of people had stopped at the side of the road to have a look at these, they were really amazing, but i was a little disappointed with my pics, i dont think i quite did them justice.
