I know my picture sucks in comparison though

Visual Kei Japan and Lolita Japan.

I was conscious to make him not look too goth, but in hindsight maybe goth was the logical choice.

Today, there are so many variations with the different styles being vastly different. It's impossible to represent vk as a whole through just one costume.

I at least wanted to incorporate the amount of androgyny that vk is famed for, but in the end, I don't think he turned out androgynous enough. Fishnets? Short shorts?? Garter belts???

My head is even more bloated when drawing lolita japan. This picture is all over the place, I wouldn't be surprised if someone told me no one wears that.
