“You are quite the brave woman to face me,” Nebula admitted to the Kryptonian. “Foolish, yet brave.”

“On my homeworld, this symbol stands for hope,” Supergirl replied as she pointed at the 'S’ logo on her costume. “As a bearer of this sign, I always try to defend my friends and my home.”

However, this just made Nebula crack a smile. After the daughter of Thanos clenched her fist, Supergirl suddenly fell to the ground in the fetal position. Supergirl had seen these types of reality-warping abilities before when they were wielded by the 5th-dimensional imp named Mr. Mxyzptlk. The only way she knew how to get rid of that imp was tricking him into saying his name backwards. However, she did not know the blue alien’s name. And even if she did, tricking Nebula into saying ‘Aluben’ would have done nothing except slightly confusing her.

Then, Supergirl felt her limbs grow elastic and limp. Slowly, she began to be rolled up into a ball, just like a pile of Play-Doh clumped up by a child or a sheet of paper crumpled into a ball by a frustrated writer. Once Nebula was done with the Kryptonian, Supergirl’s body was curled up in such a way that not even the most flexible of people could even dream of contorting their bodies like that.

“Now I guess it stands for Spherical,” Nebula taunted the now ball-shaped Supergirl.

"Not that we can see it now..."
