Reagan is the best President we ever had.Anyone who puts Reagan's legacy down either hasn't done their research or is just a plain communist sympathizer.
My two political heroes are Ronald Reagan and Joseph McCarthy.
Reagan and McCarthy are Christ-like and stood for what is right. They still set the standard for what is right, especially Reagan.

Hey remember when Reagan's cutbacks aggravated a national homeless problem created by careless mass release of patients from mental institutions and the gentrification of cheap housing in big cities. Spent billions of dollars funding the Islamist "Mujahidin Freedom Fighters" in Afghanistan. Increased unemployment from 7.5% at the start of his term to 11% at the end of it. Tripled the national debt from $900 million at the start of his term to $2.8 trillion at the end of it. Gave amnesty to three million undocumented immigrants in 1982 so that corporations hire them at a cheaper rate than they would an American citizen and ignored the growing epidemic of AIDS until several years into his Presidency. Wasn't that stuff neat?

When I was a kid, I didn't understand what he stood for, but now I know, and I wish he were still alive.

One of the greatest presidents in our country's history and a role model for people coming of age in such troubling times as these, people like me.
When he died and his funeral was televised, even though I wasn't alive during his term, I wept. The most emotional part was when they played Taps and did the missing man formation.

Man if Reagan were here today(and not with Alzheimers) he would whoop the Republicans into shape and then slap the Dems in the face... while keeping a smile.

beuatifull work good sir I wish Reagan were here to day, the politicians today seem to have lost track of what made this country great its truly scary what the next four years may be like. I do however retain my faith in the American people if Reagan taught us one thing it was that its the people of America that make this country great and that the people are the back bone of this country. we do not need goverment to dictate how we live. once again this is a very beutifull picture I am going to use it as a desktop background kudos to you good sir.

(I know he had speechwriters, btw)
He was a great man.

Fascism among contemorary terms has degenerated into a simple yet broad pejorative which bears little if any relevance to its proper theoretical definition.

True. Originally, the word itself came from "fasces" (not "feces") which is a Roman symbol of power -- an ax with a bundle of sticks tied to it. "Fascism" also sounds a lot like the word "fascia" which is a medical term for a group of something. I think it's Latin. It means "together."
So "communism" and "fascism" literally mean the same thing: oppression of the individual by the group.

Correct. The fasces was traditionally used in Rome as a symbol of the Senate's power given to it by the people during its term as a republic. I once saw a website that tried to link "fascist" influence to American history simply by stating that there are sculpted fasces in the Chamber of the House in Congress when they clearly exist as one of the many classical allusions of the American Enlightenment. Nevermind that fascism didn't truly mature as a political ideology, a nationalistic and socially conservative spin on Socialism, until the 1930s.

Does anyone remember that early-mid 90 sketch from The State about how the American flag was engineered such that you can't shit on it and it was ruining a comic's livelihood? I think this is the solution.
