I was just riding a horse like that this monday, when I was still in the beautiful landscape of Iceland. I allready miss the place..
I'm not usually a fan of horses, but there's something about the icelandic ones! Maybe it's their unspoilness of other races (heard there's a law against bringing other horse-races to Iceland to keep the pure original race)
But to your picture: I kinda like that the light comes from the side, even though it might had been a bit more "perfect" if the white horse in front was a bit more lit up - but it's very nice how the light draws the conture (don't know if it's called that in english) around the horses in the background!

Nifty. I like the positioning of the horses, how the first one is white, then the gray, then the black. Whether it's coincidence or good eye on your part.

I really like the idea of this image but it would look so much better if the shadow of the white horse was in the whole shot and more of the landscape was showing in the background. I think if you droped down to a lower angle you would have achieved it.
But otherwise bud, this is a great idea for a shot and the focus and lightin is perfect

Good photo, good contrast. The manes are overexposed, but for the type of photo, it doesn't bother the eye. What I do think would be a more interesting composition is if this had been taken looking up at the horse, rather than looking down.
