Description
ok, so finally got around to finishing the colors on this one...I tried to go outside my comfort zone here, and I think the results are somewhat mixed. I guess my overall feeling is that it doesn't really know what style it's supposed to be in terms of the painting...I mixed in a lot of sketch and print styles despite my intentions not to, and I'm not sure how well that mixes with the half assed airbrush/painterly things I was trying to accomplish...as I always say, painting isn't really my thing(that's not an excuse, just an explanation). I've been thinking lately that it wouldn't hurt me to get some kind of formal training in painting as I seem to be lacking in the fundamentals...but I digress as is my habit...
I did learn some things in this process, and also found some really cool photoshop plugins by akvis(which are surprisingly reasonably priced too)...
so overall, it's not a total loss hehe...anyhoo...
