I'd think that Tank would have Angel, Gumball, Winona and Opal call him Grandpa. Only Owloysius, doesn't call him Grandpa.
And speaking about Tank, I'd view him and Opal being in a Inter-generational Friendship, but later falling in love despite their vast age differences. I mean it's at least three decades.Β

Owloysius must travel to another world where he discovers he has become a human.
In Canterlot High, he meets Principal Philomena and becomes a subtitute teacher. He also meets human versions of Angel Cake, Gumball, Winona, Tank and Opal.
Any thoughts?
