Description
This drawing is based on the sculpture I made recently. I find that drawing, then sculpting, then drawing really helps me to figure a character out. I didn't know what to call her before, but I decided on Masako because that's the name of a real female samurai from the past. Not that this characters a samurai, I just liked the sound of the name.Related content

she looks ilke she could be a samurai though... if you dont have anything better for her to do that is...
something about the face looks a little strange to me.. i'm not sure i can articulate what exactly, but i'll give it a shot...
she has a very asian name, asian looking clothes, and a rather asian shape to her head, but something about her nose and the shading you've done on her face makes her look vaguely african ... it just doenst quite seem like it fits... i dont know though ... and you might have given her face a little too much width
dont know though, that might just be me (probably is)

Thanks, yeah, I noticed she started to look more African part of the way through, but I just decided to stick with it, at least for this drawing. Some of my friends are half Fillipino, half African-American maybe that was influencing me. I kinda like it though.
