bio:
while dash and shy were considering a child and finding rainbow dash infertile and fluttershy to nervous to have a baby then having a hard time getting a foal to adopt.
cloudleap was made by discord as a way to try to get rainbow dash to like and trust him. born from a draconequus egg, he is technically a draconequus with long rabbit ears and teeth but for the most part he was made in the image of his moms the ponies, though this never stopped bullies from poking jokes.

growing up, cloudleap was closer to fluttershy acting shy around the other foals whenever they were brought around their cottage. but as he got older he got to be more open and enjoyed nice flights with his mother rainbow and then helping out his other mother with the animals. growing up he loved studying the animals that came to the cottage and writing many books about them. when ever he went over to friends houses he loved to hang out with their pets more. growing up his best friends were screw ball and pokey pierce's kid happy daze and rarity and fancy pant' son vanity. he was also very close to splat (applejack, pinkies, and cheese's foal) but hardly got to see splat since they traveled with their parents most of the time.

later in life the position of being an element wielder was being passed down and cloudleap had a hard time coping with watching most of his friends get the positions while, he himself having two of the elements for parents, he was seen as none of the six elements.
after the six moved cloud leap saw less of his friend as they hade begun to be train in canterlot into the positions even vanity got upset with his sister and ran away to manehatten.
