Description
The text of the book being illustrated goes through the Song of Deborah and Barak, noting the correlation to the experience at Mount Sinai, which this illustrates. To do so, I used images of the actual Mount Sinai, or at least some of the look and feel of that part of the world, it's rocky and ungainly but with some tremendous darks and lights, reds and blues and rich colors mixing together in what would appear to be an utter wasteland. I also wanted to use some unvisited color schemes with pinks and purples to highlight the lightening.
