Description
Igaan is a Daptari Terragryder with the ability "Will All". Daptari is the given term for Terragryders who have an ability to "will" an element from around them or from mutates cells within their own bodies. Terragryders are one of the many races that inhabit Tekkae, their planet, and have canine-like features. Igaan is literally so powerful that if he were to use his ability, he could ultimately reset Tekkae and wipe everything from existence. However, such a strength requires a sacrifice. Igaan did not choose this ability; he was born as so, but does not have a sane/intelligent mind like other Terragryders. Dial, head of the Eivon government, seeks Daptari for secret experimentation within his headquarters, and once Daptari caught wind of this, they fled the city of Eivon and have gone into hiding. Igaan is kept across a sea from Eivon in Gradisenich, locked in a chamber far below the surface in Gradisenich's headquarters, under the head of Aervila, a much kinder leader. Only she and Sarka, an Imperial Priest, know of Igaan's existence and they prefer to keep it that way. Electrochords, what are hooked onto Igaan's collarbones, are used to keep his tantrums at bay(and ultimately to keep him from using/accessing his ability). They try to treat him as fairly as possible, though they must approach him as a feral beast. Only Sarka can go near him, and his touch strangely soothes Igaan even though Igaan cannot grasp what is happening because of the poor development of his brain. Igaan self-mutilates by shredding his ears or gouging himself anywhere with greatly overgrown spurs/dewclaws on his arms and legs. He does not feel the pain, and does it out of boredom. He cannot communicate and does not comprehend any kind of speech. He has three eyes, though each harbor three irises and pupils. The third, central eye will open wide when Igaan undergoes a tantrum, and often during these episodes, his eyes will bleed. His power, if he were to use it, rivals deities.
