I've always wanted to create a crocodile character but always found trying to draw the snouts in an anthro/furry way to be awfully challenging. I started sketching her in February and finale had a break through.I was sort of inspired by a prompt that sounded like a title to an anime "What if a group or cult came up to you and told you that you were the reincarnation of their god"Β Made me think of Sobek the Egyptian crocodile god.
Name, I was thinking Beka "like Sobek-a " or Suchi "after Suchus the Greek word for crocodile" Maybe you guys could help with a name ^^
I haven't finished the full design but I have though of some personality/backstory for the character but I should probably settle on a name before trying to wright it out XD
some fans have suggested names like "Allie Gates" and "Chamomile"Β And another recomended combining the name to "Rebecca Suchi"

Well, I'm probably not the best person to ask in terms of giving her a neat name, but in giving herself the more critical eye, I'd say for the most part she looks absolutely adorable.

What about something around 'Farmak', it is the word for lizard in one of Tolkien's languages, I think it was Black Speech, or a kind of Elvish.

Is Suchi pronounced 'Sushi' or 'Suki'?
Would personally be a terrible person to ask, but I agree with those who suggested Allison Gates assuming the friendly, shy expression is indicative of her actual character. Regardless of what you choose, perhaps one of your ideas could be a middle name or nickname so they're still utilised?
