The coloring is crap on this, but I really wanted to share it with my watchers any way.

I've been watching the old Looney Tunes cartoons on YouTube lately (for old times' sake and because I love them) which rekindled my love for my all time favorite of the bunch, Pepe le Pew, and I just had to draw him and his darling Penelope in a rare moment of calm. And yes, she gave him a kiss.

And I can't seem to draw animals for the life of me right now, so I made them humans.

Also (I just found this out recently) apparently, whenever he was chasing after a black cat, it always Penelope. I thought that was interesting since I always thought he was chasing a different girl each time.

And no, I could not bring myself to put Pepe in stereotypical French clothes. I imagine him being suave and stylish and I wanted his outfit to reflect that.

BY THE WAY DON'T READ BELOW THIS UNLESS YOU CAN BRACE YOURSELF FOR DISTURBING CONTENT FIRST.

Braced? Okay.

Well, when I was watching Pepe Le Pew cartoons on YT, and looking at fan art on dA, there were some rather unhinging comments and art about Pepe being a rapist.

So anyway, I look at the comments and art and I watch the cartoons, and all I think is, "Umm... No, he's not. He's just clueless. LIKE THE REST OF THE LOONEY TUNES. Heck, even Bugs has some clueless-ness!"

Also, it's been long established that Penelope likes him too. She does chase him back on occassion. There was even that one short that had them in a 'love at first sight' scenario where they ran into each other's arms. She totally made a fangirl squeal beforehand and everything!

Whenever she runs away, she's just trying to get away from his epic bad skunk smell.

I mean, seriously, have any of the people saying that have any idea what a skunk smells like? Is gross.
