Except the Tiger Dragons. Mainly out of respect, as well as fear, since the Tigers commonly operated massive planetary weapons to defend their one, and only world.

Powers: Very weak venom for killing jungle prey; Non-harmful to dragons. Shapeshifting.

Shapeshifting:

Fiora is an incredibly powerful shapeshifter, considering her age. She was one of the first dragons in the Tiger-Dragon species to receive the powers, and the only one that still lives to have them. Her powers have caused widespread dissent, and while she remains neutral to an extent, her abilities are feared, horribly so. Mainly due to her.... psychotic, behaviour.

Her power isn't unlimited, however, it has downsides. For one, she cannot simply become 'whatever' she wants, at will, she must first have seen the creature she wants to morph into, and remember its form, so that she can become it, secondly, any special powers attributed to that specific form are not given to Fiora, she only gets generic powers, and loses hers in the process, until she becomes herself again.

For example, if Fiora were to become Setta, she would be unable to camouflage her scales, or utilize Setta's characteristic Dark-Fire, however, she would get regular fire powers, as that is the generic power attributed to the Adyat Empress.

Her powers also extend to the creation of limbs, like whole forms, if she has seen a certain limb before, and it isn't too complicated to create, she can user her morphing powers to grow that limb, for example, she could grow wings in a humanoid form.

Venom:

Fiora, while having venom, rarely uses it. The Tiger Dragon kingdom is incredibly wealthy and advanced, but Fiora does enjoy hunting the native alpha-predators of Peregrine, mainly to prove her superiority over them... Mainly just for her own entertainment, really.

Personality:

Fiora... Was actually a very gentle and serene dragoness; she rarely liked to cause harm, and loved nature, and was very social, and looked upon very favorably as the next candidate to the Peregrine Throne. She had very good relations with all those around her, especially her parents, who, as of today, have been practically 'wiped' from the annals of history by Fiora. Everybody loved her, and she was practically well received as the 'model' dragonet. She was a very trusting dragoness in her infant years, which stayed with her as she matured.

And then, it all changed. Sometime later in her life - in the mid-twenties - an unknown force invaded the planet, and in an event known by the Tigers as the 'Great Blackening', changed the personalities of most Tiger Dragons - though not all - by a considerable amount. Fiora was easily the most affected of the Tiger race; her personality flipped on its head. She became a cold, hostile dragoness, who hated everybody that wasn't a Tiger Dragon; for the most part, at least. Some exceptions have been noticed, Anastia, for example. She also grew into a great deal of greed, and cunning in her changes, and conquered many stations in pirating methodology, primarily to expand her income-base, but also to give her spots to launch raids on shipping from. Fiora was never the same after the Great Blackening. Even Setta, whom is mostly blinded by her current hatred for the monarch, remembers what she was like before the Great Blackening.

Backstory:

"What makes you think I'm telling you that?" Fiora hissed.
"Well... I will. Here's what my race's records say about you, little Tiger." Aastara muttered.

Fiora lived a... Complicated life, to say the least. A lot of it is known, due to compilations of Tiger, Firanti, Imperial, Vastidian, Progenitor and Kulnami records of the Tiger monarch, but there are 'shadow' zones in her life, such as her parents.

It is unknown as to 'exactly' when Fiora was born, being as even her exact age is unknown, what is known, is it was between 200 and 300 human years ago. Knowledge of her initial parents was never known. Not even Fiora knew. She was born in an alley, as it came to it, cast out to fend for herself for years... It was easier than she'd thought, being as the Hidden Kingdom was a remarkably safe place. She grew to the age of about ten while living alone, for one hundred human years. She always kept out of sight, and to herself, sticking in the darker places of the Hidden Kingdom. One day, the integrity of the kingdom was threatened, being that the current Queen and King of the Tiger Dragons, were ambushed while approaching the hidden city. Fiora knew very well, that the body of a Tiger Dragon was built to move quickly over terrain, but to get to the Queen and King, they'd have to fly... This was when her shapeshifting powers awakened.

She knew that the guard-dragons of the Kingdom would have a hard time in getting to the monarchs before something bad happened to them, being as Tiger Dragons are not good flyers... And with no heir, if they were to die, the Kingdom would likely go up in the flames of civil strife and wars. Wracking her mind for a way to save them, and she knew that one of the wild dragons of the planet, the Raywith Destroyer was a colossal dragon, and capable of incredibly high top-speeds. She'd seen one recently; the Kingdom had defended itself from one in the past few days, and the image was still very vivid in her head... That vividness of the form of that dragon, prompted the first, excruciatingly painful transformation of her life.

She found her body rapidly adapting, becoming less and less like that of a Tiger Dragoness, like she was used too... She was a smart dragoness, and knew very quickly that, she'd triggered some kind of... Transformation ability. As her new form solidified itself, she took herself in; she was huge now, the size of one of the royal palace towers, with wings that could probably stretch to encompass all of the Hidden Kingdom's palace if she wished. She realised; she was a Raywith Destroyer, the very dragon she'd hoped to find, to reach the royals in time...

Fiora rescued the royals very quickly, earning their appreciation, despite them seeing her as a Raywith... She shocked them by changing back to a Tiger Dragon though, and introduced herself formally to them, explaining everything she could, while steering clear of her 'touchy' subjects; parents and all that, although she couldn't keep it from the royals for too long; before the end of the conversation, they'd gotten her to spill about being an orphan, much to her dismay.

The orphan was, shockingly enough for her, almost instantly adopted by the royal pair as a 'thank you' gesture for saving them, and that's how she spent the next fifty or so human-years of her life, in the palace, under the tutelage of her adoptive parents. She'd come to love them as much as her real parents, despite not knowing said real parents...

And then, on the fifteenth dragon-year of her life, the King and Queen died of an... Odd parasite, which tried to infect Fiora, but failed... Nobody knew where the parasite came from, although it shared a lot of similarities with the parasites used by the Firanti Hivemind for making infested zombies out of dragons. With no monarchs, the Kingdom was very close to going up in flames. Except, for the fact, that within the will of the dragons, they'd named Fiora as their heir.

The dragoness was, for lack of better words, chucked into the deep end with this decision, and for the longest time, refused to do anything, mainly due to being scared, and having a regent manage the kingdom for her... When she heard, that the regent was - in her own words - a 'bastard', she then rose to the challenge, and took the reigns of her newfound nation, expanding it into the stars with space-travel on a mass-accessible level, and beyond.

Fiora's rule had shaped up to be a great thing for the kingdom; the previous monarchs were too grounded to the old ways of life, they would rather stay on the planet minding their own business, and being fairly poor, as far as powers went. Fiora pursued a different objective altogether; she seeked to expand her influences into space, and make a trade-empire of sorts out of the Tigers. Her plans worked out brilliantly, and within about seven years - by her twenty-second hatch-day; in theory, at least - the Tiger Dragons had expanded rapidly into a space-faring civilization. Fiora was contempt to keep one colony, being as the universe - as their Kulnami neighbours had revealed - was a packed place as it is. What Fiora had managed to do, though, was secure very rare sources of the rarest materials in the galaxy around the star-cluster, and had firm control over them, making lots of money in selling these materials to the other powers, the Draconic Federation especially, bought these materials for a lot of credits per-tonne. As Fiora had found out, Setta's nation was more than happy to share its copious amounts of wealth from its own trade in the form of acquiring resources it needed.

But then, the Great Blackening took place. Initially, nothing was known about the Great Blackening, except that it resulted in the warping of all minds of the Tigers, into manic creatures with severe anger and territorial issues. What is known, in Firanti records, is that Fiora herself was the victim of a binding curse at the end of the night that started the Great Blackening; Fiora's will was bound to that of an unknown creature, and she was forced to serve the whims of that creature, even against her will, causing her personality to warp to the desires of said creature; the 'Dark One', as referred to by most Tigers, even Fiora herself, despite her not knowing about being a slave to said 'Dark One'.

The Dark One continuously came to Fiora, affecting her in many ways, primarily through the use of horrific nightmares and visions to plague the dragoness constantly, slowly and steadily pushing her down a path of corruption. This lasted for... A very long time, as she slowly became more and more insane and evil, before capitulating completely, descending into a fully manic, evil and depressive state, which resulted in many mental changes, and a few major physical changes, resulting in her looking like she does now; prior to the Corruption, she was much less... Black, and was more of a brilliant gold, with stripes of white across her body, she was also scaled. The corruption, however, turned all the scales, into fur. Similar things occurred to her entire race, but they all - including Fiora - kept their radiant colors.

In such a terrible state, Fiora was greatly unstable now, and quickly began to hate everybody around her, with very few exceptions. It got so extreme, that one time, when Setta was visiting, the two got into a horrific fight, all because Fiora's instability caused her to get extremely pissed off at Setta, for no good reason. This led to Setta placing embargos on the Tigers, and using her limited sources of rare materials to supply her forces. This event, was doubly painful; to Fiora, because she'd lost her main source of income, and to Setta, because she'd lost the trust in a dragon, she once considered a friend.

Many years passed by, with Fiora still getting more and more manic, and slipping further along her corruptive path, and she underwent even more gradual changes, eventually, by the current time period, a few years ago, the changes stopped, leaving her as she is now; with a corruption-level that severely darkened the look of her fur, so it was more of a dark orange for the most part, with the gold only remaining on her underbelly.

And then, on Setta's 32nd hatch-day, Fiora instigated the biggest calamity to ever befall the universe; in a rash move, mainly out of hatred for Setta, she pumped millions of credits that her Trade-Empire was generating still, into the Kulnami coffers, and persuaded the Kalikota Coalition - which headed the Kulnami Syndicate - to launch invasion fleets at the Federation and Opteris Hivemind, triggering the Axonarrian Cold War, which rapidly 'hotted' up. All the while, Fiora was falling more and more to the grasp of the Dark One... Before long, she'd fall completely to their influence...
