Your left all alone?
You can't remember feeling, only dreaming.
Sweet dreams break down reality.
Amongst all things, in this there is hope.
But when those dreams are assassinated,
What is there left?
Lost in the ether, breathing poisonous fumes,
A heart suffocates without hope.
Forget, forget, forget...
Pushed back into the deepest recesses of the brain,
The heart can hold no more.
Sleep without dreams to hold on to,
Wake to the cacophony of reality and adapt.
Breathe in the tainted air, breathe deep.
Soon the memories fade, the air smells sweet.
You dream again. New dreams. Oddly bereft,
But you can't remember why your heart aches.
