How they fly,how they're constantly within a dainty reach,
how they decorate the sky at night,
flickering lights begging to be toyed with.
Planes. Filled with hundreds.
Planes, delicate and fragile little treats.
Planes, which i can't seem to get enough,
exquisite prayer of a kind stuck to the cold cold ground.
*whispers*
"Yes, I can hear you passengers, I'm all ears.
You're likely too busy trying to escape,
jump, anything to leave the scene,
but I'm hearing you.
I'm listening, very attentively.
And as your imperceptible steps
brush against my nail,
I'm giving your plane
something it was
unmistakably intended for."
"I'm almost done..."
... And how do i silently wish some of you resolve to stay inside and keep me company.

With planes so small you could hang a whole collection of them from each ear lobe and have them freely swing as you walking, tossing about the panicked innocents inside, subjecting them to the fatal sentence of being trapped in your company

So much better than I'd first imagined. I thought you were merely lancing a plane through your earlobe, to decorate yourself on a whim.
The Goddess is much more than that. All those tiny specks, always concerned with their routines and momentary obligations, unable to... pause... look around... and appreciate where they are.
There's no question I'd push my way through the crowd and pick my way carefully up your aural canal. Even if you couldn't hear me singing to you, telling you stories, I would at least bask in your warmth and hear all the things you turned your head toward, gaining a sliver of the Goddess's perspective. You offer so much, always, and all I do is take...

That would be a one-sided relationship. It'd be great for me, being surrounded by you, but you would effectively have lost all track and trace of me.
Yet if I never board another plane, what odds would I ever have of encountering you? If I stay put right in my city, you'll never pluck me out of the sky and adorn yourself with me. Mercy, they're so vanishingly small compared to you, with your fingernail vast as a football field. Staying is perilous. Leaving is fraught with infinitely more danger. But it's sweet to imagine them secure in their seats, facing down, each passenger braced unsteadily against the one before them, swinging and swaying as you turn your head.
