I bought my Intuos from Amazon.com, as they had an "academic" version and it was cheaper. Still came with all the same stuff though, so I went for it. I did see the bamboo and was seriously considering getting one before I found the good deal on the intuos. Do you like the feel of the bamboo? I have the medium Intuos4...but thought it would be handy to have something like the smaller bamboo if I travel with a laptop. It looks like you're getting used to it pretty well! I'm still trying to get used to it also. Took me a while to get the hand/eye coordination down because of the widescreen monitor and the smaller size of the drawing surface on the tab.

The feel of the bamboo like a broken and dry marker on a scrached peace of plastic. And so freakin loud... But I just draw these days when no1 sleeps next to me so it doesn't bother me.
I guess later I'll buy a Intuos, but not tomorrow.

Hahaha...yeah I know what you mean. The intuos does come with different stubs for the pen, so I switched the standard for the softer stub and it reduced that effect. Aye, the Bamboo works, as is apparent by your art! If it works well for you then getting an intuos isn't exactly an emergency...or necessary.
