¡Ay, que lindo! Why is this demon so cute!!

I'll admit, The Owl House was another show I wasn't sure was gonna be good. Then YouTube kept recommending me clips from the show, and I was instantly hooked. I think what I liked is the connection is has with Gravity Falls. The animation is gorgeous! The story is amazing! I just love everything about it.

Though I was surprised King would be my favorite character. I mean, that's Bill Cipher in a furry, Cubone dog suit.

I hate him as that pointy triangle, but as King, I just love him! From his design all the way down to his Squeak of Rage. When he's not being self-centered and lazy, he is quit adorable, especially around Luz. He's a tsundere cat! I think that's why I picked him for the "slumber" prompt. King tends to look for places to nap, and when he curls up, Nya!! just so cute!! So I chose to draw King when he's all curled up with his favorite plush bunny.

Color-wise, I know King’s teeth, claws and horns are more white than the base, but I didn’t have colors that matched; so to avoid a flesh colored skull, everything was left white. I think I also have the colors on his bunny slightly off, but again, just working with what I had. Last thing to note is that I am not a fan of the blender marker. Feels like the only time it blends is when my markers are all jumbled together. I ended up going over with more light blue to shade the background.
