Playing 'round with Se'vre's face.He likes playing off the 'mad' image, so he uses kohl to enhance his unusal eyes. Purple eyes are the mark of Illusionists, powerful magic uses who tip closer to madness every time they use magic. Illusionists are held sacred in shadow cat culture, and feared as much as the gods.
Practice! Trying to find something that strikes me for a larger, finished piece. Suggestions for one are welcome.

Yeeees, little smirky-doo. I think that the switch to this age range just really suits him and was a wise choice. This was always Se'vre's spirit, so having his outside match it makes all the more sense and makes him more compelling. HUZZAH.

Ugh LOVE that he guyliners to play up the crazy, it's geniussss. And it WORKS because DANG look at those purple eyes pop. I love his little smirk and how perpetually youthful his face is, combined with the eyes and the smile, it creates SUCH a compelling image. It makes him so intimidating in such an unconventional way. LOVE THIS A LOT.

Dude THANK YOU hahaha! He's supposed to have this innocent look about him, so I've always drawn his eyes big and his face round. He's supposed to be intimidating but...somehow soft. Glad its coming across!

I'm going to just say what I said on tumblr, though adding the thought of doing a collective of portraits of each major character's role? All together like the Brady Bunch 
LOVE IT! I always love how young Se’vre looks, which he is, with big, round eyes and soft features that makes him look babyish compared to Allan— which I think adds all the more to his deception. He appears like this lanky harmless playful youth but something about his eyes and smirk says different. haha I just thought “Stringbean King” but I’d be dead in an instant if I said that :V
Se’vre would have fun with the dark elves. Them lovers of kohl! (Suddenly I had a punny vision of them all shopping at Kohls… God I need to commission this from you one day, ahhaa.)
Guuuaaah I need to practice faces during my break. Keep up the great work! With every piece there is improvement! However slight!
