This was supposed to be like a new character design, but I just start doodling and this lil' foxy came out. I'm having really terrible art block and I really wanna work on making my style more unique/fluid. That's why for this piece I decided to make more flowy arms! It would be really helpful if you could give me some critique on my art and what I need to work on. (:

I actually really like the look and feel of this.
The expression is quite happy and displays a lot of emotion.
The pose looks anatomically correct, and I love the stylization of the front legs (how bulky they are), as well as how you can almost feel how fluffy the "mane" and tail are.Β
The tall, pointy ears are a nice addition as well.
I also really love how "traditional" this looks from the textures and the lines, but I also love the smooth, crispness of the colours (especially the eyes) of the digital portion.
The only thing that looks kinda funny is the angling of the mouth and nose; it looks too turned to the side, as if it were drawn and then angles to fit correctly. Maybe straightening it out, so that the line connecting the mouth and nose faces straight down, and the corners of the nose correlate with the "corners" of the eyes?Β
