Rob O'Hedge the Hedgehog

The group's leader. When Eggman started his take over, he turned to the Kingdom of Mercia. He recruited a team of the kingdom's residents to defend the area from Eggman's forces. Rob is a friendly character though very suspicious of people he doesn't know. He also speaks in "old English" or Shakespearian language with a tendency towards dramatic flair. He is generally jovial but committed to justice and willing to take on much responsibility without complaint. He cares deeply for his team, who he sees as his family.

Bow Sparrow the Sparrow

An expert bowman and Rob O'Hedge's best friend. Early in his life, Bow was captured by the empire, and sent to Snottington Castle until he was rescued by Rob O'Hedge. Grateful and obedient to Rob, Bow considered Rob his mentor and became a member of the Kingsmen. Bow is friendly and easy-going, as he let the Chaotix stay at their hideout with hardly any questions asked. Having been saved by Rob o' the Hedge early in life, Bow is strongly loyal and respective towards Rob, almost seeing him like a brother.

Thorn the Lop

The most fiercest fighter in the group. Thorn was trained all her life to be a soldier, and she got her opportunity when the empire started it's take over. While she did fight off a number of Egg Pawns, eventually she was overwhelmed. However, eventually, Rob O'Hedge and Bow saved her. She pledged her loyalty to the group. Thorn is a determined fighter, but is also polite, particularly when addressing her teammates. She is somewhat more reserved and serious than the rest of the group, and is usually the one to try to keep the others in line, though she readily admits defeat when her friends burst into song. As a Highlander, she speaks with a slight Scottish accent.

Friar Buck the Deer

He started his life as a humble student of the Tomes. When the empire began their attack, Buck worked in secret to keep the kingdom's records and censuses intact. He kept track of the identities of those capture, until he was captured himself. They tortured him for weeks to get him to give up the kingdom's records. Bow Sparrow rescued him when the soldiers tortured him in an isolated part of the forest. Buck is generally serene and friendly with a subtle sense of humour. A holy man, Buck prefers not to engage directly in combat. As such, he leaves battle to his more aggressive compatriots, though he is quick to suggest peaceful solutions to the opponents of his team. He also tends to utilize non-violent means to subdue his opponents, such as setting traps.

Alan the Quail

Alan was once a traveling musician. He tended to make songs that mocked Eggman and the Empire. As one would imagine, Eggman did not take kindly to that. He personally sent a large group of soldiers to apprehend Alan. However the Forest Kingsmen came in to help. However, to their surprise, they saw that he had some decent fighting skills, as he was using his Cittern to fight off the soldiers. He gladly accepted their offer. Alan is a smart-mouthed minstrel who speaks only in song. He speaks specifically in a sonnet musical style and ends all of his stories with "and a hey nonny nonny~!" He exaggerates his stories during singing. He tends to tease people, especially Munch the Rat, coming at odds with him in most of their conversations. While he may seem brash, he is thoroughly dedicated to the Mercian Freedom Fighters and their goals.

Munch the Rat

The most fun loving of the team. Munch used to compete in numerous competitions due to his strength, though led to a lot of people think he was some big dumb brute that only was good for destroying things. This led to him developing a slight anger problem, making him lash out at anyone who made fun of his intelligence. This led the empire to capture him and roboticize him, however, his strength allowed him to escape. After noticing him fighting off several Egg-Pawns on his own, Rob O'Hedge recruited him. Munch is aggressive and enjoys a good fight, and speaks with a rougher dialect than his fellow Mercians. A bit rough around the edges, it is implied he is not all that quick-witted, but he is earnest. He often clashes with Alan Quail, who mocks his somewhat uncultured nature, and is quick to respond to Alan's antics with anger. This is likely due to Munch having a more serious outlook, whereas Alan tends to be more upbeat and usually tries to provide levity in tense situations.

Shahra is a magic user and illusionist from Hamarapi. Before the take over, Shahra performed amazing daces and performances for crowds. Her secret was that she was secretly a genie. A few soldiers who were patrolling the area caught her attention, and she defended several citizens, as she had an expert degree in swordsmanship. One of the soldiers knocked her out. She was being taken to a prison, to have her powers exploited. However, when the transport crossed into Mercia, the Kingsmen freed her. She joined them in gratitude. Shahra is a kind-hearted and friendly person. Shahra acts courteous and loyal. Shahra is also very formal. She uses her magic and sword skills to protect anyone in need.

Merlina the Fox

A sorceress in training. Merlina was sadly orphaned at a very young age, leaving her all alone. She wandered on her own for several months until Ebony the Cat took her in, and raised her as her own. She and her mother joined the Forest Kingsmen after Munch helped them with a small platoon of soldiers, resulting in their home being damaged beyond repair. Still being a novice, she does have the tendency to mess her spells up. But overtime, her skills do improve. Merlina is a very kind and caring individual, though she can be rather shy. One thing she cannot stand is when the empire threatens children and their families, as she doesn't want anyone to suffer the same fate as her.

Mari-an the Echidna

Rob O'Hedge's wife. Mari-an lost everything when her village was raided by soldiers. Mari-an was the sole survivor. The forest Kingsmen rescued her and she was taken to their base. She began to admire Rob O'Hedge at his heroic and stoic nature. Eventually, she began to fall in love with him. Later, he began to fall for her after she displayed her combat skills. Shortly after they got married, Mari-an told her husband that she was pregnant with their son. Mari-An is more aggressive than typical female Echidnas. She takes issue with those who doubt her self-reliance; when Knuckles questioned her ability to handle herself in a dangerous situation, she responded by throwing him to the ground. Similarly, she doesn't like being left out of the action, likely seeing such a request as doubt of her capabilities. While initially not impressed with Rob's bravado, she quickly grew to love him. She shows great concern for others and doesn't hesitate to put herself in danger for their sake; she fears for their safety far more than her own.

Experienced sorceress, and the adoptive mother of Merlina. Ebony made a living healing people and selling various potions. When she was traveling she came across a very scrawny Merlina. Taking pity on the small girl, Ebony took her in and treated her as if she was her own flesh and blood. When Merlina got old enough, Ebony began teaching her magic. However, Merlina had the tendency to mess things up, much to Ebony's annoyance. After their home was destroyed by soldiers, the Forest Kingsmen allowed them to join them. Ebony is not one for laughs, usually has a very serious and stern attitude. She tends to scold the others for their behavior sometimes. However, she is very caring, especially to her daughter.

Not much is known about this individual. The Forest Kingsmen found her on her own wandering. She seemed to have amnesia, as she didn't know anything about herself, other than her name. The group took her in. However, when they encountered several Egg-Pawns. As they were closing in on Gold, her powers emerged.

A burst of psychic energy emerged from her body. Not knowing what to do, the Kingsmen turned to Silver, as his powers seemed to be similar to Gold's. He began training her, to help her get her powers under control. Gold is supportive, intelligent, observant, caring, and easily impressed (she makes a lot of noise when watching movies). However, she is also nosy, neurotic, and nagging. She is the type to keep her head down and not get caught. Currently, she is beginning to learn how to be her own person, and that that person has value and power.

Bow Sparrow the Sparrow

An expert bowman and Rob O'Hedge's best friend. Early in his life, Bow was captured by the empire, and sent to Snottington Castle until he was rescued by Rob O'Hedge. Thorn the Lop

The most fiercest fighter in the group. Thorn was trained all her life to be a soldier, and she got her opportunity when the empire started it's take over. While she did fight off a number of Egg Pawns, eventually she was overwhelmed. However, eventually, Rob O'Hedge and Bow saved her. She pledged her loyalty to the group. Thorn is a determined fighter, but is also polite, particularly when addressing her teammates. She is somewhat more reserved and serious than the rest of the group, and is usually the one to try to keep the others in line, though she readily admits defeat when her friends burst into song. As a Highlander, she speaks with a slight Scottish accent.

Friar Buck the Deer

He started his life as a humble student of the Tomes. When the empire began their attack, Buck worked in secret to keep the kingdom's records and censuses intact. He kept track of the identities of those capture, until he was captured himself. They tortured him for weeks to get him to give up the kingdom's records. Bow Sparrow rescued him when the soldiers tortured him in an isolated part of the forest. Buck is generally serene and friendly with a subtle sense of humour. A holy man, Buck prefers not to engage directly in combat. As such, he leaves battle to his more aggressive compatriots, though he is quick to suggest peaceful solutions to the opponents of his team. He also tends to utilize non-violent means to subdue his opponents, such as setting traps.

Alan the Quail

Alan was once a traveling musician. He tended to make songs that mocked Eggman and the Empire. As one would imagine, Eggman did not take kindly to that. He personally sent a large group of soldiers to apprehend Alan. However the Forest Kingsmen came in to help. However, to their surprise, they saw that he had some decent fighting skills, as he was using his Cittern to fight off the soldiers. He gladly accepted their offer. Alan is a smart-mouthed minstrel who speaks only in song. He speaks specifically in a sonnet musical style and ends all of his stories with "and a hey nonny nonny~!" He exaggerates his stories during singing. He tends to tease people, especially Munch the Rat, coming at odds with him in most of their conversations. While he may seem brash, he is thoroughly dedicated to the Mercian Freedom Fighters and their goals.

Munch the Rat

The most fun loving of the team. Munch used to compete in numerous competitions due to his strength, though led to a lot of people think he was some big dumb brute that only was good for destroying things. This led to him developing a slight anger problem, making him lash out at anyone who made fun of his intelligence. This led the empire to capture him and roboticize him, however, his strength allowed him to escape. After noticing him fighting off several Egg-Pawns on his own, Rob O'Hedge recruited him. Munch is aggressive and enjoys a good fight, and speaks with a rougher dialect than his fellow Mercians. A bit rough around the edges, it is implied he is not all that quick-witted, but he is earnest. He often clashes with Alan Quail, who mocks his somewhat uncultured nature, and is quick to respond to Alan's antics with anger. This is likely due to Munch having a more serious outlook, whereas Alan tends to be more upbeat and usually tries to provide levity in tense situations.

Shahra is a kind-hearted and friendly person. Shahra acts courteous and loyal. Shahra is also very formal. She uses her magic and sword skills to protect anyone in need.

Merlina the Fox

A sorceress in training. Merlina was sadly orphaned at a very young age, leaving her all alone. She wandered on her own for several months until Ebony the Cat took her in, and raised her as her own. She and her mother joined the Forest Kingsmen after Munch helped them with a small platoon of soldiers, resulting in their home being damaged beyond repair. Still being a novice, she does have the tendency to mess her spells up. But overtime, her skills do improve. Merlina is a very kind and caring individual, though she can be rather shy. One thing she cannot stand is when the empire threatens children and their families, as she doesn't want anyone to suffer the same fate as her.

Mari-an the Echidna

Rob O'Hedge's wife. Mari-an lost everything when her village was raided by soldiers. Mari-an was the sole survivor. The forest Kingsmen rescued her and she was taken to their base. She began to admire Rob O'Hedge at his heroic and stoic nature. Eventually, she began to fall in love with him. Later, he began to fall for her after she displayed her combat skills. Shortly after they got married, Mari-an told her husband that she was pregnant with their son. Mari-An is more aggressive than typical female Echidnas. She takes issue with those who doubt her self-reliance; when Knuckles questioned her ability to handle herself in a dangerous situation, she responded by throwing him to the ground. Similarly, she doesn't like being left out of the action, likely seeing such a request as doubt of her capabilities. While initially not impressed with Rob's bravado, she quickly grew to love him. She shows great concern for others and doesn't hesitate to put herself in danger for their sake; she fears for their safety far more than her own.

However, Merlina had the tendency to mess things up, much to Ebony's annoyance. After their home was destroyed by soldiers, the Forest Kingsmen allowed them to join them. Ebony is not one for laughs, usually has a very serious and stern attitude. She tends to scold the others for their behavior sometimes. However, she is very caring, especially to her daughter.

The group took her in. However, when they encountered several Egg-Pawns. As they were closing in on Gold, her powers emerged.

A burst of psychic energy emerged from her body. Not knowing what to do, the Kingsmen turned to Silver, as his powers seemed to be similar to Gold's. He began training her, to help her get her powers under control. Gold is supportive, intelligent, observant, caring, and easily impressed (she makes a lot of noise when watching movies). However, she is also nosy, neurotic, and nagging. She is the type to keep her head down and not get caught.
