And of course! Sorry for the long wait in regards to an answer.
For my traditional sketches, I simply use a blank A5 sketchbook - one of those lineless ones :v 

I usually use a 2B pencil for linework - either that or a HB, since either way I'll be inking over it anyway. I then use a biro to outline in pen :> Should probably be using a fineliner, but I dislike how they 'feel' and a lot of them are too thick for my tastes, lol. Plus many will bleed through the pages, and I want to keep my sketchbook in as good a condition as possible to get maximum usage out of it. I also use my iPad to take pictures of the final product, and modify its contrast and colouring in the iPad's in-built photo editor. :v

That's really it, honestly! Digital art of mine is made using Paint Tool SAI and a Wacom Intuos tablet, mine being around the size of an A3 sheet of paper for more precision on my monitor. I usually try and be fairly cost-efficient/conservative with my resources, hence why stuff like biros are my preferred tools of choice, lol.

Sorry if that was underwhelming! My design process is much simpler than it may seem to be, lmao.

I'll see if I can try some of that and see if it does me better than my normal mechanical pencils and printer paper.
