This one of classic perils from the old The Avengers episode the Bird That Knew Too Much, Mrs. Peel is facing one of more dangerous perils of her career. In the episode "From Venus With Love" were Pertwee plays a general (maybe a Brigader) who is dictated his autobiography with sound effects of battle. And like so many guest stars does not live to see the commercial break.

One of my favorite clips, I confess. Although it's curiously non-sexual, as was most of Diana's work in The Avengers. There was all this insinuating byplay about her sexuality (catsuits, etc.) but the script, the camera, and her acting put a phenomenal distance between her presence and any thought of what she might be like with her clothes off. She does a bit better in On Her Majesty's Secret Service, I agree.
